STUDIO GEAR COSMETICS I EYE ARTISTRY PALETTES PRODUCT REVIEW

Once again Studio Gear Cosmetics has wowed my pants off again with these eye shadow palettes! I have been testing these out for the past 2 weeks and so far I am in love. Each palette is unique and totally worth the great price.

A little background on the company..

"At Studio Gear, we believe in celebrating your true beauty. It’s not just about a look…it’s about a feeling, an expression of your true beauty inside, out. To us beauty is as multi-faceted and ever changing as you are…. we design our products to be true to you…to keep pace with your busy, active, diverse lifestyle. We are driven by our community and champion inclusivity, and unique personal style."

These Eye Artistry Palettes are $20 each. They have 6 shadows inside and also includes a travel size shadow contour brush. The True Nude Matte Palette consists of all matte shades and I would say compares closely to the Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics. I really cannot say which palette I like the best because all three are wonderful. You are able to achieve multiple looks with each.

It is described as "Universally flattering shades mix and match to play up your features for a beautifully polished yet barely there look". I would say that this statement is accurate. The shadows have a slight powder consistency to them but the overall color payoff is great! As of late I have been using the Nude Palette on clients for photoshoots. It creates a great neutral base!

STUDIO GEAR COSMETICS TRUE MATTE LIPSTICKS l REVIEW & SWATCHES

Studio Gear Cosmetics sent me these lovely True Matte Lipsticks to review. I just so happen to be a big lover of matte lipsticks so this was very fitting for me! I’m not going to lie I didn’t expect a whole lot but these really impressed me. They were kind enough to send me all 6 shades from the line.

Here is a little background on the company. Straight from the website!

All 6 shades in order are True Nude, True Mauve, True Pink, True Magenta, True Red and True Plum. The shades are pretty true to the names. The Nude is basic nudey brown in color. Same with the Magenta. A bright purple and pink shade for everyday looks.

The description on the website states that the Ultra Matte are velvety soft, pigment-rich colors that wear long and stay true.  Luxe matte formula stays put, and feels pillowy soft . Minimal color transfer or need to reapply for totally confident wear.

The formula of these is quite velvety and sit comfortably on the lips. To my surprise they also didn’t dry out my lips either like some matte lipsticks tend to do. I was really pleased with how long they wore as well. Between 5 to 6 hours which isn’t bad for matted lipsticks!

This review is based on me using all of these shades for a 2 week period. I wanted to properly test them in different conditions.
